I was searching the other day for some of the most stunning landscapes and countries in Europe and came across Liechtenstein. Reading about it a little more and seeing traveler photos of this country, pretty much convinced me that this place has to be in the wishlist, for its picturesque hiking trails, breathtaking alpine meadows and some royal experience. So we when to Switzerland, we made sure to drive through the country but missed the top tourist attractions in Liechtenstein or the best places to visit.

One of the smallest countries (it is actually a principality), doubly landlocked between the neighboring Austria and Switzerland, Liechtenstein is an alpine meadow of brightly hued wild flowers.
If you are into cycling, this would be an opportunity to cycle through 3 countries in 1 day (Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein)

WHEREABOUTS (HISTORY, GEOGRAPHY) AND HOW TO REACH
In the heart of central Europe, it is accessible by both road and rail (Eurail). Rail access is via the Swiss border stations at Buchs or Sargans, or via the Austrian station at Feldkirch.
Road access is all 4 directions: Germany in the north, Austria in the east, Switzerland in the west and Italy in the south.The nearest international airport is Zurich in Switzerland
